A very simple broth with a lot of flavour. There are so many variations you can do for this, so follow your imagination and create!
Lemongrass Vegetable Broth
- 3 Stalks Lemongrass
- 3 Carrots
- 2 Onions
- 1 Cup Celery
- 1/2 Bulb Garlic
- 3 inch Section Ginger
- 1/2 Cup Parsley
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Chop up all the vegetables in large chunks.
Put everything in a stockpot and cover it with water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 2-4 hours.
Add salt if wanted/needed.
Strain into a container and refrigerate or put into bags and measure out 1 cup increments and freeze.
Discard cooked veggies into your compost.
