Lemongrass Vegetable Broth

 

A very simple broth with a lot of flavour. There are so many variations you can do for this, so follow your imagination and create!

It comes out a wonderful color and smells delightful.

Lemongrass Vegetable Broth

This is so simple and versatile. You can add whatever vegetables you want

Ingredients

  • 3 Stalks Lemongrass
  • 3 Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Cup Celery
  • 1/2 Bulb Garlic
  • 3 inch Section Ginger
  • 1/2 Cup Parsley
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Chop up all the vegetables in large chunks.
  2. Put everything in a stockpot and cover it with water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 2-4 hours.
  3. Add salt if wanted/needed.
  4. Strain into a container and refrigerate or put into bags and measure out 1 cup increments and freeze.
  5. Discard cooked veggies into your compost.
