Cashew Cream

 

This cashew cream takes the place of whipping cream and is delightful! Take away the maple syrup and vanilla and you can make this a savory cream!

 Soak the cashews for a couple hours. After you rinse and drain them, you add the remaining ingredients and blend. That’s it! You can’t get easier than that!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cashews
  • 1 1/4 Cups Hot Water
  • 1 1/2 Tblsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tblsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/3 Cup Coconut Milk

Instructions

  1. Soak the cashews in hot water for 2 hours or overnight if you have time.
  2. Drain and rinse under hot water.
  3. Add everything to the blender and slowly add the coconut milk until it is the desired consistency.
  4. Serve on any dessert or refrigerate up to 4 days in a containter.
