Crispy & Spicy Chickpeas

 

Roasted Chickpeas are so addicting to eat and are one of the best sources of fiber available.

 

Make sure the chickpeas are rinsed and dried well.

Pour the seasoning over the chickpeas and make sure the lid is on tight before shaking. I didn’t seal mine enough and they ended up all over the floor and counter. It’s all about learning, am I right?

They are delightfully crispy and come out a beautiful color!

Crispy & Spicy Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 - 15 oz Cans Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 Tblsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 1/2 Tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F/200C.
  2. Combine all the spices in a bowl.
  3. Drizzle the oil and spices over the chickpeas in a container and toss until it is all coated.
  4. Spread on a baking pan and bake for 40-50 minutes.
