Before this, I hadn’t tried overnight oats and I’m not too sure why. This is obviously the way to go as it only takes 5 minutes to put everything in a jar and let it sit overnight. It’s so easy! Raspberry and chocolate always go together in my opinion, so why not have it for breakfast?
Simply mix together the wet ingredients in one bowl and the dry in another bowl.
After the oatmeal is mixed, layer the oatmeal and then raspberries. Keep layering until the jar is full and then refrigerate overnight. That’s it! If you try it, let me know by leaving a comment or tag me on Instagram @sareenasfood, with your photos.
Top with whatever toppings you wish. I chose to top it with homemade granola and the crunch of it went well with the oatmeal.
Chocolate Raspberry Overnight Oats
- 1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
- 1 Tblsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup Rolled Oats
- 2 Tblsp Vegan Chocolate Chips
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Ground Cinnamon
- 1/2 Cup Raspberries
In a bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, vanilla and maple syrup.
In a seperate bowl combine the oats, salt, cinnamon and chocolate chips.
Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, making sure everything is well combined.
Layer the oats and raspberries. Keep layering until the jar is full. Refrigerate overnight.
Top with granola and raspberries if desired.
