It’s getting chilly outside, so it’s time to break out the spices that make you feel all warm and cozy! Move over Pumpkin Spice (for a bit anyways), and make room for Gingerbread Spice.
It’s so simple to make and I prefer making it because you can adjust it to your desired spice level. Simply combine all the ingredients and then store in an air tight container. Feel free to adjust the amount of ground ginger if you prefer it less spicy, but I go for the 3/4 of a cup.
Gingerbread Spice Mix
Delicious & great for adding to baking and breakfast dishes.
- 1/2 - 3/4 Cup Ground Ginger
- 1/2 Cup Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup Ground Allspice
- 1/4 Cup Ground Nutmeg
- 1/4 Cup Ground Cloves
Mix all together and store in an air tight container.
*NOTE: This pairs well with baking, pancakes and in oatmeal
