Turmeric Latte (Vegan)

 

It’s taken me awhile to tweak a recipe for a turmeric latte that I enjoyed as I don’t usually enjoy the texture of them. I found out that it was the coconut oil added to it that I didn’t care for; so here is an oil-free turmeric latte for you!

It’s really very simple to make. Heat the milk over medium-high heat until it is lightly simmering, remove from heat and then add the remaining ingredients. I used Prairie Naturals Fermented Turmeric for it, and it’s great. You can sprinkle cinnamon on the top for extra flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Plant Based Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Ginger
  • 1-2 Tbsp Maple Syrup (or preferred sweetener)
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Bring the milk and the ginger to a light simmer over medium-high, and remove from heat.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and enjoy.
