I’m absolutely in love with this vegan alternative! It has the taste of Crème Fraîche which I absolutely love.
Soak the almonds in warm water. I bought almonds with the skins already removed as I didn’t feel like peeling them.
Almond Crème Fraîche
- 2 Cups Whole Almonds
- 2 Tblsp Lemon Juice
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 1/2 tsp White Pepper
- 1/8 tsp Salt
Pour almonds into a bowl and cover with warm water.
Soak 3 hours or overnight.
Drain and put into the blender along with other ingredients.
Blend until completely smooth. Add more water if needed.
Refrigerate until needed. Lasts up to 7 days in the refrigerator.
