Buffalo Jackfruit Dip (Vegan)

I love all things spicy, especially anything with buffalo sauce! There is just something about the spice and vinegar that makes your mouth just water. I had a can of young jackfruit in my pantry, so I decided to give this a try and I am so glad that I did.

Start by shredding the jackfruit. I did mine in smaller pieces so that it was easier to eat as a dip. Feel free to shred it to whatever size you prefer.

Add the onion and the buffalo sauce to the jackfruit. Once it is all stirred, let it marinate for at LEAST 1 hour.

Saute the jackfruit mixture along with the butter in a frying pan over medium heat until the onions are tender. It smells and looks like buffalo chicken.

Combine the rest of the ingredients and place in a baking dish. I used Nuts for Cheese Super Blue in it. It has a nice sharp taste and pairs perfectly with this. To see their selection of delicious vegan cheeses, click HERE. Bake for 15 minutes or until it becomes all bubbly.

I just made this and it was a big success!!! I’ve never used jackfruit before. I didn’t have Vegan ranch dressing on hand. I had to use the Buttermilk Ranch in my refrigerator, so it wasn’t truly Vegan (which made hubby happy). I drizzled a little Blue Cheese dressing over the top. It was a very tasty appetizer and I will make it again. Thx for the recipe.
