There’s something about Chai Tea that is wonderful. The aromas, the taste, the creaminess. I figured why not try it out in a smoothie bowl and I was very happy with it. I used a vegan vanilla nutritional shake powder in it and it added a lot of texture and flavor.
The spices are amazing! How can you go wrong with cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg? You can’t! I like my tea strong, so I used quite a bit of tea leaves, but feel free to use less. If you don’t feel like freezing the mixture (or using your ice cream machine for 12 minutes), you could add one cup of ice and blend it instead. Just a note though, if you add the ice, it does make it have a weaker taste.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! You can get your free sample of Yuve shake powder HERE.
