Chocolate Banana Bread Overnight Oats

Oh how I love my overnight oats, as I’m sure you know by now if you follow me!  The idea for these particular oats came to me while shopping. It really tastes like you’re eating banana bread in a bowl, and I see nothing wrong with that!

Start by mashing the banana up; if you don’t like small pieces in your oats, you can blend it. I used a frozen banana that I thawed. I personally prefer the taste of banana bread with the bananas extremely ripe, but chose the ripeness of fruit that you enjoy.

Slowly add the mashed banana into the liquid and make sure it is fully combined.  As soon as you add the banana in, the combination of that and the cinnamon make a wonderful aroma!

Blend together the chocolate oats. When you are doing this, make sure you add the cocoa powder slowly and adjust to your taste. I like mine really chocolatey, so I add 2 tablespoons! Layer the two flavors in your favorite container and refigerate overnight.
