Maca & Chocolate Overnight Oats

I have seen that people are using Maca powder a lot recently, and thought that I would give it a try. Maca root is generally dried and consumed in powder form, but it’s also available in capsules and as a liquid extract. It is so delicious and has an earthy and carmel taste. I added it to my overnight oats, and am amazed how it enhanced it.

Start by preparing both the oats. The Maca oats layer uses lovely Cashew Cream in it; you can get the recipe for it HERE. In the chocolate layer I added some maca powder too, you don’t need to and if you do omit it, it will still taste really good.

After they have both sat overnight, or at least a minimum of six hours, layer them both together. I topped mine with Chickpea Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough balls. You can get the recipe for it HERE! If you want to add the delicious chocolate syrup pictured here, it is in the recipe. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I do!
