Raw Alfredo Sauce


When I first heard about raw Alfredo sauce, I figured that there was no way that it could be as creamy as a dairy version, but I was wrong. It has a rich and smooth texture and goes great with raw zucchini noodles or with gluten free pasta.

Before you say anything, yes cashews are higher in fat, BUT it is a good fat. When reading the nutritional information about your foods, make sure you read the whole list. Cashews are a great source of protein and are high in magnesium. Dietary fats are essential for energy and cell support. It also helps our bodies absorb nutrients and helps regulate our hormones.

This raw sauce is so easy to make, you simply put everything in the blender and blend until it’s creamy.  I let mine sit for a couple hours before eating; I recommend doing the same if you can. You can keep in refrigerated for up to 4 days. Enjoy!

Raw Alfredo Sauce

  • 1 1/2 Cups Cashews soaked overnight
  • 1 Tblsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Plant-Based Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Water
  • 3= Tblsp Bob's Red Mill Nutritional Yeast
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Dried Thyme
  • A pinch of Ground Nutmeg
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. Combine everything in a blender and blend for 2 minutes or until it's smooth and creamy. Refrigerate up to 4 days.
