Habanero Black Bean Brownies

Ingredients

  • 3 Flax Eggs (3 Tbsp Flax Meal & 8 Tbsp Water)
  • 1 (19 ounce) Can Black Beans (rinsed & drained)
  • 1/4 Cup Cacao Powder
  • 3/4 Cup Organic Coconut Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Coconut Oil (melted)
  • 3 Tbsp Plant Based Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Habanero
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Vegan Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F/176 C.

  2. Make the flax eggs and refrigerate for 15 minutes.

  3. Remove the seeds and ribs from the habanero. Make sure that you wear gloves.

  4. Combine everything except the chocolate chips into a blender, and blend until it's smooth.

  5. Pour the mixture into a lightly greased 8 x 8 baking dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.

  6. Bake until the top of the brownies is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the baking dish; approximately 50 - 60 minutes.
